MODESTO, Calif. — Update: 9:32 p.m.
Salvador Suarez Rodriguez, 27 of Modesto, turned himself in to Modesto police officers early on Saturday. Police had warned community members that Rodriguez might have been attempting to flee the country.
He was wanted by police for what they say was a violent attack against a woman he knew. He was booked on multiple felony charges.

Salvador Suarez Rodriguez, 27, is wanted by police after committing, "a violent attack against an adult woman" who police said he knows.
Police said the attack happened early in the morning on Friday, July 19. Officers were sent to the Modest home after they got a 911 call about the assault.
When officers arrived the woman told them that Rodriguez forced his way into her home and — though she tried several times, Rodriquez prevented her from leaving while he continued to attack her and destroy things in the house.
According to police, Rodriguez left the woman's house with her cell phone in a white, 2006 Chevrolet Silverado truck with California license plate 90560N1. The department said the Modesto native may also have access to a second vehicle described as a black, four-door, 2005 Honda Civic with California license 8ASP771.The department shared the below images of Rodriguez's vehicles.
Detectives now have a warrant for Rodriguez's arrest for multiple felony violations and are asking the public's help in finding him. Rodriguez is considered to be dangerous. If you see him, call 911 or the police immediately.
