EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. — A woman in Pollock Pines was arrested Saturday murdering her boyfriend, according to the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office.
The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office was called about a suspicious death at a Pollock Pines home Saturday. The caller said Renee Goodman stabbed and killed her boyfriend in self-defense, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies found a dead man when they arrived to the home.

Goodman was taken into custody while detectives and CSI investigated the scene.
Goodman was arrested for murder after the investigation, according to the sheriff's office.
The victim's identity won't be released until next of kin is located, the sheriff's office said.
