Giants honor fallen officers O'Sullivan, Corona, Singh during law enforcement appreciation night

The families of Tara O'Sullivan and Natalie Corona threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the baseball game.

SAN FRANCISCO — Before Thursday night's game against the New York Mets, the San Francisco Giants took some time to honor law enforcement.

The night kicked off with Briana Wilson, daughter of San Francisco Police Department Inspector Nellie Gordon singing the national anthem. Following the anthem were ceremonial first pitches thrown from Dennis O'Sullivan, father of fallen Sacramento Police Department Officer Tara O'Sullivan, and Kathy, Cindy and Jackie Corona honoring their late sister Davis Police Officer Natalie Corona

Newman Police Cpl. Ronil Singh was also honored in a video tribute during the game.

O'Sullivan was shot and killed in June after responding to a domestic disturbance call at a Sacramento home. The 26-year-old officer was only months out of the academy.

Corona, 22, was shot and killed Jan. 10, 2019, after being ambushed while responding alone to a traffic accident.

Singh lost his life during a traffic stop on Dec. 26, 2018, in Newman. Officers from across the country came to Stanislaus County to pay their respects at his funeral.
