The Placer County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help finding vandals who caused thousands of dollars worth of damage at an area high school.

The Sheriff's department said in a tweet Colfax High School was vandalized twice this week.

On Monday, July 30, an employee at the high school arrived at work to find door handles and walls covered with caulk, a swastika drawn on a window, sprinkler heads broken, and the football goalpost pulled down.

The next day, the suspects returned to completely destroy the goalpost. Sheriff's deputies believe both crimes happened between 5 - 8 p.m.
