The person who allegedly stole equipment from the Armijo High School band room has turned himself in and has been arrested.
According to the Fairfield Police Department, Jonathan Olea turned himself into the Fairfield Police Department Tuesday, April 18. He was arrested without incident and booked into the Solano County Jail for receiving stolen property, criminal conspiracy, and being an accessory to a crime. Detectives have recovered several instruments, however, more instruments are still missing.
Earlier this month, the high school near downtown Fairfield was broken into with thieves targeting the band’s storage room. Thousands of dollars in musical instruments were stolen. For the stolen instruments out there, almost every one of them is tagged with a serial number, so they should be difficult to re-sell.
