Boyz II Men, Kool & the Gang to perform at 2023 California State Fair and Food Festival

Boyz II Men and Kool & the Gang will headline the California State Fair and Food Festival.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The California State Fair announced two more headliners for its concert series exclusively on ABC10, Tuesday morning.

Boyz II Men and Kool & the Gang will headline the California State Fair and Food Festival.

Boyz II Men is a group from Philadelphia comprised of baritone Nathan Morris alongside tenors Wanyá Morris and Shawn Stockman. They're known for hits like "On Bended Knee," "End Of The Road," and "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday."

Kool & the Gang is an R&B, soul band from New Jersey known for hits such as "Get Down on It" and "Ladies Night." The band includes brothers Robert "Kool" Bell and Ronald Bell, with Dennis "Dee Tee" Thomas, Robert "Spike" Mickens, Charles Smith, George Brown, and Ricky West.

The California State Fair more than doubled its music budget from the previous year's lineup. Tom Martinez, the CEO of the California State Fair and Food Festival, previously said they've made investments in almost every aspect of the state fair.

Daily admission to the fair is $16 and the advance price is $14. Other prices for kids and seniors are available as well as different packages. Find more information HERE.
