CITRUS HEIGHTS, Calif. — An armed man barricaded himself into a Citrus Heights home Saturday, according to law enforcement.
Citrus Heights police officers responded to the 7200 block of La Luna Court for an assault Saturday morning, according to a tweet from the Citrus Heights Police Department.
The suspect was in possession of firearms and uncooperative with officers, the department said. He then barricaded himself inside a home.
A SWAT team is trying to negotiate with the man to peacefully surrender, the police department said.
