Cordova students send support to Florida high school following deadly shooting

A Cordova High School media class filmed a short video featuring their peers sending their support and encouragement to the students of Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

In the wake of the deadly Florida high school shooting that left 17 dead and more than a dozen injured, students from a local Sacramento-area high school rallied together to show their support for the victims and their families.

A Cordova High School media class filmed a short video featuring their peers sending their support and encouragement to the students of Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, where the deadly shooting took place in February.

The video, meant to be a simple show of support, has now gone viral.

ABC10's Michael Anthony Adams sat down with some of the students involved to find out what prompted them to create the video and their thoughts on gun violence in schools.
