ELK GROVE, Calif. — The man suspected of robbing an Elk Grove convenience store this week was arrested Wednesday, police officials said in a Facebook post.

The suspect, 21-year-old Jeffrey LaCalle, allegedly walked into the AM/PM on Harbour Point Drive armed with a handgun and robbed the store. Surveillance footage showed a man holding a skateboard with a green colored design on the bottom, but did not show a clear view of his face.

Elk Grove police officials said LaCalle was linked to a May 18th robbery at the same AM/PM.

Elk Grove Police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect who they say robbed a gas station while clutching a skateboard Monday.

The robbery happened on Monday, July 8 at the AM/PM on Harbour Point Drive, according to police. Surveillance video shows the suspect walk into the gas station wearing a black hoodie and holding a skateboard with a green and white design on the bottom.

The surveillance video does not show the suspect's face, but police are hoping someone will recognize the design on the skateboard. 

The man is described as Caucasian, approximately 6'3" and weighs around 200 pounds.
