FOLSOM, Calif. — A cello and laptops full of priceless family photos are just a few of the items being returned to their rightful owners after they were taken during a series of burglaries, according to the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office.
The items were recovered from a home in Elk Grove and a storage unit in North Highlands. Folsom Police arrested 37-year-old Justin Cogbill on May 14 for the series of robberies that were reported near Valley View Parkway.
The Sheriff's Office says nearly all of the items that were reported stolen have been recovered, including laptops that contained family photos and a cello that belonged to a young music student.
Some of the laptops were immediately recognized and identified as stolen property because the victim's had their names laser engraved on them.
The trainer said two people stole the dog from his van while he was teaching at Howe Park Sunday.
