ORANGEVALE, Calif. —
A teenager was arrested after a man was shot and killed in Orangevale, officials with the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said.
Around 10 a.m. Thursday, June 13, deputies were called to a home in Orangevale for a "family disturbance." Sacramento County Sheriff Sergeant Tess Deterding said the 17-year-old suspect and his sister's 20-year-old boyfriend were having a fight when the shooting occurred.
The suspect was booked into the Sacramento County Juvenile Hall. Deterding said his identity will not be released at this time because he is a juvenile. The identity of the victim has not yet been released, either.
