A teenager is behind bars after shooting a flare gun at a Lodi Walmart entrance and its employees.
According to the Lodi Police Department, officers were called to Walmart after receiving reports of a man shooting a flare gun at employees.
Upon arrival, officers found Daniel Aguiar 18, in the Walmart parking lot with a flare gun in his waistband. Aguiar was detained at gunpoint without incident.
It was later determined the suspect fired one flare toward the main entrance of Walmart after being involved in an argument with employees. There was no damage and no reported injuries.
Aguiar was charged with carrying a loaded firearm.
