RIPON, California — Two Modesto teenagers were arrested, and a missing girl was found, after a police chase over the weekend.

According to the Ripon Police Department, officers were called to the Love’s Travel Stop on Saturday, March 16, after a License Plate Reader [LPR] alerted police of a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, police attempted to pull over the driver, however, he fled. After a short pursuit, the driver pulled over and surrendered.

The driver was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and evading a police officer. The other male passenger was taken into custody on an unspecified outstanding warrant.

Both were transported to the Stanislaus County Juvenile Hall. The identification of the two teenagers was not released due to their age.

Also in the car, police found a 12-year-old Turlock girl who was reported missing. She has since been returned to her family.
