YUBA COUNTY, Calif. — Update: Power has been restored for more than 80% of customers in Butte County, according to a PG&E spokesperson. Crews are working to restore power to remaining customers in Butte County.
PG&E has announced that all power has been restored to their customers in Yuba County.
Portions of Yuba County and Butte County had their power shutoff due to dangerous weather conditions.
The public safety power shutoff impacted about 20,500 people in Yuba and Butte counties. 260 personnel had to inspect around 800 miles of transmission and distribution lines as part of the restoration process.
Earlier, PG&E had said 50 percent of the affected customers in Butte and Yuba counties had their power restored as they continued to power line and equipment inspections.
