Police: 3 gang members arrested in attempted Stockton homicide

Three documented gang members have been arrested following an attempted homicide in Stockton last month, according to the Stockton Police Department.

On April 28, police said four suspects attacked a 31-year-old man in the 2100 block of Fontana Ave. The victim, who later survived, was transported to the hospital with major face and head injuries.

During their investigation, Stockton police detectives identified three of the four suspects.

On Wednesday, detectives arrested 23-year-old Ismael Rodriguez, 25-year-old Jorge Leal, and 26-year-old Robert Rodriguez. All three suspects, who are documented gang members, were charged with attempted homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy, and gang charges.
