The Roseville Police Department is asking for the public's help in regards to a recent attempted kidnapping outside Costco.
According to a Facebook post, around 7 p.m. Monday, April 9, officers received the call of an attempted kidnapping after an 11-year-old girl escaped and alerted her parents.
The victim reported a man blindfolded her and attempted to get her into his van, which was parked in the Costco parking lot, 6750 Stanford Ranch Rd. The girl claims she didn't know this man.
Officers canvased the area, "but were unable to locate witnesses, video surveillance of the suspect or other evidence connected to the incident."
The girl described the suspect as a white male in his 20's or 30's with black hair and blue eyes, unshaven with short, dark facial hair, wearing a red t-shirt and blue jeans.
