Crews make quick work of 150-acre 'Dyer Fire' that burned east of Roseville

The fire ignited near Dyer Lane and Watt Avenue. It grew to approximately 150 acres before firefighters gained control.

PLACER COUNTY, Calif. — Firefighters have reached 100 percent containment on a wildfire that flared up east of Roseville, Wednesday night.

According to Cal Fire, the so-called Dyer Fire began in the area of Dyer Lane and Watt Avenue and is moving to the north. It ballooned up to approximately 150 acres before fire crews were able to get the upper hand.

No structures were threatened and no injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
