“It is with great sadness that we report Roseville Police Officer Cameron Landon was discovered to have passed away in his sleep at his home this morning,” the Roseville PD Facebook post read, in part.

The Grass Valley Police Department also posted about Landon, saying, “Cam was a wonderful husband, father, friend, and officer. In his time in Nevada County he started as a correctional officer for the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office and then was hired as a police officer for GVPD.

Cam worked for Roseville PD in recent years but maintained close relationships with many local law enforcement personnel. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, kids, and extended family.”
