A Sacramento man has been arrested following a fatal shooting on May 30 in the Rosemont area of Sacramento County, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department.
At approximately 12:30 a.m., the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 9200 block of Lilibet Avenue on reports of gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, deputies found a male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim in the shooting was later identified as 26-year-old Jaymes Alexander of Sacramento. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Sunday, a suspect in the case, 31-year-old David Young of Sacramento, was arrested for his involvement in the murder, officials said.
