Arson investigation underway following a fire at the Ghost Kitchen in Sacramento

The fire happened early Wednesday morning.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A fire at an unopened business in Sacramento is being investigated as arson, according to Metro Fire of Sacramento.

Fire officials say they need the public's help identifying two persons of interest in the fire that occurred at the Ghost Kitchen just before 5 a.m. Wednesday morning.

According to officials, "The [persons of interest] are seen pulling up in a white Ford van, breaking the glass to the business and throwing flammable/ignitable fluids inside the business multiple times."

Currently, the Ghost Kitchen is under construction and had not opened yet.

Metro Fire of Sacramento says anyone with information or who recognizes the persons of interest should call the Arson Tip Line at 916-859-3775 or email at arsontip@metrofire.ca.gov.
