Police are on the scene of a deadly shooting in the Strawberry Manor district of Sacramento, Friday afternoon.
Officers were called out to the shooting at a home in the 200 block of Cookingham Way, located just to the south of Fairbanks Elementary School.
Cookingham Way has been shut down while police investigate. Authorities have also shut down Olmstead Drive, between Fairbanks Avenue and Barton Way, in the area.
So far, police have not released any information regarding the victim nor have they said anything about a possible suspect in the crime.
