Sacramento area federal employees plan shutdown protest at Sacramento International Airport

The protest is scheduled for noon outside of Terminal A.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — On the 26th day of the partial government shutdown, workers are beginning to voice their displeasure. 

On Wednesday afternoon, members of the American Federation of Government Employees [AFGE] are set to be joined by elected officials and community allies at Sacramento International Airport in protest of the work stoppage.
