Suspicious package left outside Sacramento Bee "not dangerous"

Police have closed 21st and 22nd Streets, as well as evacuated the building.

Police are opening up multiple streets near the Sacramento Bee after a suspicious package dropped off outside the building was determined not to be dangerous.

Police closed Q Street at 21st and 22nd streets, as well as evacuated the building, as they investigated the package.

The package was determined to be not dangerous just before 9:30 a.m. and people were allowed back into the building.
