San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office has identified the skydiving instructor who was killed Saturday at the Skydive Lodi Parachute Center as 25-year-old Young Kwon.

Kwon, along with a first-time skydiver, were killed during a tandem jump in Acampa when their parachute did not deploy.

The other victim, 18-year-old Tyler Turner of Los Banos, recently graduated high school and was set to start at UC Merced in the fall. He was the youngest of four children and hoping to check skydiving off his bucket list.

Kwon was a citizen of the Republic of Korea, according to the sheriff's department. No other information on the instructor has been provided at this time.
