SACRAMENTO, California — The California State Fair makes its return to Cal Expo for the 2019 year and is set to operate from July 12 through July 28.
Here is a schedule for what is happening on July 21:
Hours of operation: 10 a.m. to midnight

- 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. — California State Fair and Food Festival has a pass that gives out four tickets for $28 that can be redeemed at a vendor that is a part of the food festival. A food item costs around $10 without a ticket.
- 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. —Learn to Taste Wine Like a Pro (Taste of California classroom)
- 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. — Wines from A to Z (Taste of California classroom)
- 7 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. — Taste the Nuances of CA Honey (Taste of California classroom)
For the kids:
- 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. — The Silver Orange Lounge (Expo Building 3)
- 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. — Race, Ride, & Rodeo Kids Korral (Horse arena)
- 11 a.m. 8:30 p.m. — Mane Event - Turn Back Time (Horse Arena)
Concerts:
- 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. — STEPHEN SANCHEZ (Farm to Glass)
- 5:00 p.m to 5:45 p.m. — The Shawn Raiford Experience (Promenade Stage)
- 5:30 to 10 p.m. — Dave Russell (Western Saloon Stage)
- 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. — Mariachi Vargas De Tecalitlán (Golden 1 Stage)
ABC10 at the fair:
The ABC10 Swagon will be swaying with the beat all weekend long near the Golden 1 Stage. Find the ABC10 Swagon, snap a pic with Mark S. Allen, post with #abc10AtTheFair and you could be featured on our social media or on-air!
