Flooding shuts down portion of Hammer Lane in Stockton | Update

Flooding in the Stockton area has closed down a portion of Hammer Lane.

STOCKTON, Calif. — Update: 7:45 p.m.

According to Stockton Police Department spokesperson Officer Joe Silva, an hours long closure on Hammer Lane is expected to be cleared up within the hour. 

Officer Silva told ABC10 that the Hammer Lane at the railroad tracks is currently the only road closure in effect. City crews are on their way to resolve the flooding issue.

Update: 

Stockon police have announced another road closure in Stockton due to flooding.

March Lane and Quail Lakes are currently shut down due to flooding.

A portion of Hammer Lane in Stockton has been shut down due to flooding. 

Police announced a Hammer Lane closure between Lorraine Avenue and Girardi Way due to the flooding.

Numerous other streets are also said be flooded due to the rain. Police are asking people to drive safely.
