LAS VEGAS — A former Playboy Bunny was arrested in Stockton. Police say she is connected to the death of a psychiatrist who was found inside the trunk of an abandoned car.

Kelsey Turner was arrested in connection to the death of Dr. Thomas Burchard, a psychiatrist at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Penninsula.

According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, on March 7 police found an abandoned car with a dead man inside the trunk.

The man was later identified as 71-year-old Dr. Burchard.

Two weeks later on March 21, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department worked with the FBI Stockton Safe Street Task Force and arrested 25-year-old Kelsey Turner in Stockton for open murder.

The question of how Turner and Burchard are connected is still unclear.

An affiliate, KSBW, spoke with Turner's mother who said the two have known each other for years and Burchard paid for her rent.

Reports show Turner modeled for Playboy Italia and Maxim. She is currently going through the extradition process. Her next court date is April 8.
