STOCKTON, Calif. — Stockton police announced they arrested a man connected to a 2023 homicide Tuesday.
John Ditmer, 48, was arrested in connection to the shooting and killing of 45-year-old Juan Pacheco, according to the Stockton Police Department. The shooting happened on Scotts Avenue and Aurora Street May 20, 2023 in broad daylight.
Ditmer was processed and booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on homicide charges, according to police. An investigation is still ongoing.
The shooting was Stockton's 25th homicide case of 2023.
