Authorities have shut down Interstate 205 in Tracy due to a fire and down power lines.
According to Caltrans, I-205 is shut down eastbound at MacArthur Drive and westbound at I-5. Drivers are being asked to find alternate routes.
The closure occurred following a wildfire call Near Canal Road and Berry Avenue. Officials say the fire burned several cars and outbuildings, but crews were able to keep it from spreading to nearby homes.
The spread of the fire felled multiple power poles, according to Tracy Fire Officials. There have been no reported injuries to civilians or fire officials.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. There is no estimated time for the interstate to be reopened.
