Claims against PG&E from the Northern California fires must be filed by Oct. 21

Claims may be filed three ways: in person at one of six PG&E claim service centers, online, or via U.S. mail.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — If you plan to submit a claim against PG&E because of Northern California fires prior to 2019, then you have less than one week to do so.

Claims in PG&E’s Chapter 11 cases must be filed and received no later than 5 p.m. Oct. 21, 2019. Claims may be filed three ways: in person at one of six PG&E claim service centers, online, or via U.S. mail. 

Claim service centers are open to the public from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. The six in-person PG&E claim service centers are located:

  • 350 Salem Street, Chico, CA 95928
  • 231 "D" Street, Marysville, CA 95901
  • 1850 Soscol Ave., Ste 105, Napa, CA 94559
  • 567 Huntoon Street, Oroville, CA 95965
  • 3600 Meadow View Road, Redding, CA 96002
  • 111 Stony Circle, Santa Rosa, CA 95401

If you plan to file via mail, send any claims to: PG&E Corporation Claims Processing Center, c/o Prime Clerk LLC, Grand Central Station, P.O. Box 4850, New York, NY 10163-4850.

These claims are for if you believe the electric company owes you money prior to when the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Jan. 29, 2019.

If you were affected and do not submit a claim by this date, you may be barred from from filing a claim against PG&E in the future and may be denied payment or other compensation.
