SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Crews are working to extinguish a vegetation fire along I-5 just south of Highway 50, according to Sacramento Fire.
Sacramento Fire described the fire as burning a "500-foot long section of dense vegetation and trees."
Crews are working along the shoulder to extinguish the fire, Sacramento Fire said.
The fire is "heavily impacting commuter traffic," according to Sacramento Fire.
