t seems there's still more to uncover about the Matt Lauer scandal, according to his former NBC colleague Megyn Kelly.

The talk show host insinuated there was more to the story in an interview with Us Weekly published Thursday. When asked by the entertainment outlet if she thought the disgraced journalist could make a comeback, Kelly declined to comment, but said: “I know too much that others don’t know.”

Weeks after news broke in November that Lauer had been fired from "Today" for "inappropriate workplace behavior," Kelly interviewed one of his accusers, Addie Zinone.

Zinone, a former production assistant, has claimed she had her first physical encounter with Lauer in 2000 when she was 24, a man she sought career advice from. Zinone said their sexual encounters lasted for approximately a month. Reflecting on the relationship, she told Kelly it was a "massive mistake."

Anyone wondering whether NBC had a reaction to Kelly hosting Zinone on her show will have to keep guessing. A seemingly tight-lipped Kelly, again, declined to comment on the subject.

The former Fox News anchor, who said she has "not at all" had contact with Lauer since her interview with Zinone, reiterated her commitment to the #MeToo movement.

“... I feel very strongly about the #MeToo coverage, the importance of doing it without fear or favor,” she said. “I didn’t let anyone stop me at Fox, and I’m not going to let anyone stop me at NBC.”
