SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Voters in 15 counties throughout California can now visit a voting center to cast their ballots for the March 3 primary election.
Voting centers are open in Amador, Butte, Calaveras, El Dorado, Fresno, Los Angeles, Madera, Mariposa, Napa, Nevada, Orange, Sacramento, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Tuolumne counties.
Over half of the state's registered voters live in these counties, according to the California Secretary of State.
"I urge every Californian in Voter’s Choice Act counties to consider voting early," said Secretary of State Alex Padilla. "There are plenty of opportunities to vote over the course of the next 11 days, including evenings and weekends. Voters also have the benefit of choosing the voting location most convenient to them."
Voters in Sacramento County can use this map to find a voting center. Blue markers are voting centers that open Feb. 22. Orange markers are locations that open Feb. 29.
