Sacramento Catholic Diocese Abuse List: Here's where priests were during years of reported abuse

The Sacramento Roman Catholic Dioceses issued a list of credibly accused priests.

SACRAMENTO, Calif — The Sacramento Roman Catholic Diocese released on Tuesday a list of priests and religious leaders that were accused of sexual abuse or sexual misconduct while serving in the diocese.

The types of abuse ranged from inappropriate kissing to rape and affected people who were 25 and younger during the time of the abuse, according to the diocese. Some of 46 religious leaders were assigned to serve in schools.

In addition to serving at parishes in the Sacramento Diocese's area, some served as chaplains and directors in organizations like California Youth Authority and Centro del Sancto Rosario.  The diocese spans 20 counties and covers approximately 42,600 square miles, extending from its southern border of Sacramento, Solano and Amador counties all the way north to the Oregon border.

The diocese's list included were the religious leaders served during the time. Here is the list of where the priests and other religious leaders, who the diocese included in their list, were assigned to in the years of reported abuse or misconduct:

WHAT THE BISHOP SAYS:  The Roman Catholic Diocese of Sacramento released an edited video Monday, April 29th of Bishop Jaime Soto apologizing for the sexual abuse of children and cover-up. "We failed you. We failed to protect you as children and we failed to tell you the truth as adults," Bishop Soto said.
