The City of Stockton Animal Shelter says they have no more room for incoming animals and may euthanasia may be their only option.

The shelter announced on Facebook that they are at full capacity, and if they cannot find any rescues to pull animals, people to adopt, or owners to redeem their lost pets they will have to start euthanizing animals, specifically large breed dogs.

The shelter is currently waiving adoption fees on all animals and will waive adoption fees for animals being redeemed by their owners, if the owner is willing to have their pet spayed or neutered.

The shelter, located at 1575 S Lincoln Street, is open Tuesday through Sunday from Noon until 5 p.m., except Wednesday when the shelter is open until 6 p.m.
