SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Here are all of Friday’s scores from around the Sac-Joaquin section for week 9 of the high school football season:
ABC10 Game of the Week:
The Johansen Vikings rallied their way to victory against the Davis Spartans in Week 9, 21 to 14. They'll look to keep that momentum heading into their next game against Beyer.
Fan game of the Week
The Turlock High School Bulldogs overpowered the Jaguars 25 to 13. The bulldogs picked up momentum as they head into their Harvest Bowl game against crosstown rivals the Pitman Pride.
Game 2:
The Inderkum Tigers defeated the Yuba City Honkers 35 to 20 in Week 9. They'll have their next showdown with Rosville on Nov. 1.
Game 3:
The Manteca Buffaloes crushed the Sierra Timberwolves, stampeding over the opponents 42 to 12. The Buffaloes will face their next challenge against East Union on Nov. 1.
Game 4
The Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack put a stop to the Elk Grove Thundering Herd, claiming the win 23 to 12. The Wolfpack will head to Davis looking for their next win.
Game 5
The Monterey Trail Mustangs destroyed the Laguna Creek Cardinals. The Mustangs put a decisive win in their cap as they head into their next game against McClatchy.
