Charlie Teague was just two years old when he met two-time World Series champion and his hero, Hunter Pence. Since the pair's first meeting in 2015, Pence and Charlie have developed quite the friendship and they had a chance to catch up at Raley Field this weekend.
Pence visited Charlie when he was in the hospital for a large growth on his skull. Since his hospital stay in 2015, he's undergone several surgeries to remove the growth on his brain. Charlie is now a healthy five-year-old who absolutely loves baseball and he had a chance to throw out the first pitch at Friday night's River Cats game where he reunited with the Giants outfielder who is on rehab assignment.
