Sacramento Kings | How many head coaches have the Kings had in 71 seasons?

The Sacramento Kings have gone through the most coaches out of California's four NBA teams.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento Kings have gone through 28 coaches in their 71 seasons as a franchise team.

Out of the four California NBA teams, the Kings have gone through the most coaches out of the bunch.

The Clippers have had 25 coaches in 49 seasons; the Golden State Warriors have had 25 coaches in 73 seasons; and the LA Lakers have had 26 coaches in 71 seasons during their time as franchises, according to Basketball Reference.

Here is the full list of the Kings' last 28 coaches, from Les Harrison, who coached the Kings from 1948 to 1955, to their most recent, Dave Joerger.

  • Cotton Fitzsimmons: Four playoff appearances, .346 win/loss percent in playoffs

Dave Joerger was also notable for delivering the King's most successful season since 2005-06.
