3 children, 2 women identified after deadly wrong-way crash in Contra Costa County

The three children killed in the accident were passengers in the car driving the wrong way.

PITTSBURG, Calif. — The three children and two women killed in a wrong-way, head-on crash on Highway 4 in Contra Costa County have been identified.

The accident happened around 12:10 a.m. Thursday on SR-4 near Railroad Avenue in Pittsburg.

California Highway Patrol says the driver of a Hyundai Elantra, 27-year-old Tiara Tucker of Vallejo, was going east in the westbound lanes when she collided with a Ford Flex being driven by Lasaundra Goode, 44, of Vacaville.

Goode – who was driving on the correct side of the road when the crash happened – was pronounced dead at the scene.

Tucker – who was driving on the wrong side of the road when the crash happened – was also pronounced dead at the scene along with her three child passengers identified as Kaliyah Johnson-Ochoa, 9; Mariah Mihailovic, 5; and Keilani Johnson-Ochoa, 4; all from Vallejo.

It’s not yet known if drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash, and Tucker’s relationship to her three child passengers is also unclear.
