Crash involving multiple car shuts down parts of Interstate 5

All lanes of northbound Interstate 5 are blocked near the U.S. 50 connector ramp. Caltrans did not have an estimate of when those lanes will re-open.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A crash involving multiple cars shut down portions of northbound Interstate 5 on Saturday night, Caltrans officials confirmed.

All lanes of northbound Interstate 5 were blocked near the U.S. 50 connector ramp. The #1 lane has since reopened but the eastbound connector remains closed. Caltrans did not have an estimate of when that lane will re-open. It has been closed as of 11:27 p.m.
