Storm-damaged section of Highway 16 in Yolo County set to receive repairs

Officials with Caltrans say drivers should expect alternating one-way traffic controls overnight every day this week.

YOLO COUNTY, Calif. — State Highway 16 in Yolo County will be down to one lane overnight this week after recent rain storms washed out a culvert between Guinda and Rumsey.

Officials with Caltrans say drivers should expect alternating one-way traffic controls beginning Monday, March 11 through Thursday, March 14 between the hours of 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

On Friday, March 15, repairs will go on from 9 p.m. to Saturday at 6 a.m.

The repair schedule could change depending on the weather, availability of construction equipment and materials or other traffic issues.
