PRETEND TRIP:

For the fun of it, I checked out flight prices for the weekend before Thanksgiving. Southwest's famous "Wanna Get Away" prices were pretty low! Here's the breakdown:

Date searched: Nov. 6

Dates traveling: Thursday, Nov. 21 to Monday, Nov. 25

Sacramento to Maui: $273

Maui to Sacramento: $223

Total airfare cost with taxes: $495.60

If my bosses are reading this...I think a work trip is in order. You know, so I can detail the trip for readers.
