A preliminary 3.7 magnitude earthquake hit Central California Thursday morning just south of the Hollister, adding to the list of quakes to rock the Golden State this week.
The earthquake, reported early Thursday by the US Geological Survey, hit just one day after a 3.4 magnitude quake rattled Hollister and Salinas, and two days after a 4.5 magnitude quake his the same area Tuesday.
Officials are looking to see if Tuesday's earthquake might have triggered an explosion at a fuel storage facility in the Bay Area that forced thousands of residents to remain in the homes for hours because of the unhealthy air.
On Thursday, the 30th anniversary of the massive Loma Prieta earthquake that destroyed parts of the San Francisco Bay area, California will debut a new early warning alert system for public usage.
ABC10 will update this story as more information becomes available.
