Friday will see a cold front settle into the metro, but there won't be much rain coming with it. The morning will see patchy fog and some drizzles around town, with just a 20 percent chance of showers for the rest of the day.

Saturday will be windy and cold, with temperatures dropping to near 50 in the afternoon and north winds howling near 30 mph. A hard freeze is expected both Sunday morning and MLK Monday morning

Expect plenty of sunshine over the weekend with no threat of frozen precipitation with this system.

Looking ahead to next Monday, conditions for San Antonio's Martin Luther King, Jr. March look dry, but temperatures will be chilly for the largest MLK march in the U.S.
