SACRAMENTO, Calif — Northern California will enjoy some of the best weather in the country for Easter weekend, but there will be a few things that could change people's plans.

Friday will be nice and warm in the Valley, with highs near 80s. This is the second day in a row to hit the 80s and the first time the area has seen a few days in a row this warm since November 2018. The wind will be breezy, with gusts only up to 20 mph and that might create allergy issues for Friday and Saturday. Sierra highs will be in the 60s with sunshine.

The region will see a big, one day cool down Saturday with stronger winds, clouds and a chance of light shower for the Sierra in the afternoon. The snow level should remain above mountain passes, but we could see around a tenth of an inch of rain. Valley locations will see clouds and highs dipping into the upper 70s.

Easter Sunday will be perfect with Valley lows in the upper 70s and Sierra highs close to 60 degrees with dry conditions.
