Southern California fire activity increases during Red Flag Warning

A Red Flag Warning is bringing gusty winds to Southern California. These winds are increasing the chance of fire weather.

Three fires in Southern California have grown rapidly on Thursday.

All three fires are in Riverside County. This area is immediately downwind of Santa Ana winds. These winds are notorious for being hot, windy and extremely dry. They are perfect for elevating the concern for fire weather.
