Childcare services cut by Sac City USD to prevent state takeover
SCUSD Spokesman Alex Barrios told ABC10 the district is focusing on K-12 education and is getting out of the childcare business. By eliminating programs such as Head Start, Barrios says the district will be able to save $2 million a year.
