Common brings his sense of pride and thirst for knowledge to Stockton
In a packed conference room at Stockton City Hall, actor, rapper, activist Common was the star attraction, greeted by a round of applause. But he didn’t come to give a speech, but rather listen to community activists trying to re-shape the city that has a reputation for crime to one of reform and hope.
