AB 392 would change how officers use deadly force, if passed

The California Act to Save Lives, AB 392, would authorize officers to use deadly only when it is necessary to prevent serious bodily injury or death. If passed, it would expand the possibility of holding officers criminally liable for using unnecessary deadly force.
