California’s state wildfire commission invited Butte County to describe the “community needs" after the 2018 Camp Fire. It took Butte County administrator Shari McCracken nearly 15 minutes to rattle off the laundry list of outstanding problems: from sluggish efforts to provide housing, to lost population, to a lack of clean drinking water that could last years… it’s really a lot to take in. This video was taken at the commission's March 13 meeting in Redding, Calif.
